COVID-19 Humanity Betrayal ㅤ Memory Project

My husband and myself along with 9 family members got together for Thanksgiving dinner on 11-27-21.  Half of the family were vaccinated, half not. My husband and I were not.   Two days later we both became ill.

I was treating both of us with over the counter meds.  I called my PCP and told them 3 different times that my husband was not doing well.  Each time I was advised to “treat the symptoms.”  I requested monoclonal antibodies.  I was advised it was too late being it was after 10 days from the start of symptoms.

On 12-6-21 with worsening symptoms, I took him to Butler Memorial ED.  As soon as we entered the hospital we were asked the reason for the visit.  I advised shortness of breath.  Immediately we were asked if he was vaccinated.  “No.”  My husband was placed in a wheel chair and I was told I could not stay as he was wheeled away.  I sat in the car for 5 hours until my husband called me.  He said that he was going to be admitted.

We kept in touch very little, because each time he would say he had to go for testing.  On 12-7-21, I called the nurses station to obtain information on my husband’s status and treatment.  I was advised that the physician would be starting Bruce on Remdesivir.  I stated, “NO,” because I had done research and I did not want this given to him.  I  was asked by the nurse if I wanted to speak to the doctor in charge. I stated that, “YES, I did.”  I never received a return call from a doctor, however, when my husband called me that evening, he stated they had started him on his first dose of remdesivir and that there would be 5 doses.  My husband was excited and felt that he would be feeling better soon now.  They had convinced him to take it.  We were briefly able to keep in touch from that point, because he stated testing was constantly being done, so he said.

I do know that he was not eating or drinking and did not have a bag of fluids running.  At one point, I received a call from the nurse asking if my husband had anxiety issues.  My response was “No, but he has only been in the hospital once prior.”  She stated that he was anxious and was going to give medication for anxiety.

Still unable to visit with him due to Hospital Protocol from the time he entered the ED, I know that his anxiety was high as mine was as well.  On 12-12-21, I had my last video call (one of three) with my husband while the nurse held the tablet so we could speak to each other.  My husband stated to me that “something was wrong” and to “get him out of there”.  This call took place between 7:00 – 9:00 pm.

After we hung up my mind was racing on how I could get him released and where to take him in his condition.  I called the hospital nurse’s station the following morning at 6:30 a.m., to ask how my husbands night was (it was hard for him to talk because of being on the BiPap.) The nurse advised me that my husband had taken a turn for the worse.  The prior night he was intubated and placed on a ventilator shortly after midnight the night of 12-13-21.

Still unable to visit my husband, I called and left messages and very few times received a return call for updates on his progress.  At one point (12-17-21, I believe), the pulmonary doctor called and stated that Bruce was taking a turn for the worse and wanted to know to what extent I wanted treatment to be given.  I stated, “To do anything and everything they can do to help him.”  At that point, I was given permission to visit (through the glass window of ICU) 15 minutes each morning and evening.  Because I have working children, I would visit in the morning, my children alternated evening visits.

I was advised that Bruce was in kidney failure and they needed to start dialysis, however, he was not tolerating being on his back and was having better results being on his stomach.  A day or two went by, and during my daughter’s evening visit the hospital staff decided to do the surgery in his room to place the necessary line for dialysis.  I never received a call stating that this was scheduled or being done.  My daughter just happened to be there for her 15 minute visit.

After the line was placed, my daughter called me and stated for me to come to the hospital because the doctor wanted to talk to me.  After I got there, I was advised that my husband had a heart attack during the procedure and was again asked what measures I wanted taken. Again, I stated anything and everything to save him.

I visited him briefly through the window after the conversation with the physician and prayed that he knew that I was there, and could hear me telling him how much I loved him and that we all needed him.  I was requested to leave, as my time for visiting was up.  I left the hospital, checked on him with the nurse after I got home and was told he was stable.   Two to three hours, I received a phone call stating that Bruce was having another heart attack.  They were working on him, and requested me to come to the hospital.  I notified my children, and when we all arrived at the hospital he was already gone.

Upon making my husbands burial arrangement, I immediately requested his medical records.  I have attempted reading them but found so many issues with his treatment that I could not continue, because, without question, I know that my husband was neglected proper care, over medicated on medications not needed, not given medications that would help him and was medically murdered.  My husband went in to the hospital on a multi vitamin only and 15 days later the succeeded in murdering him.

I have read the hospital records from the point of admission to the point of being placed on the ventilator.  My findings include the following: Bruce was being given remdesivir, Fentanyl Citrate, Hydroxyzine Pamoate, Propofol, Midazolam, Vistaril & Morphine.  He was taken for x-ray twice per day as his PIC line was mal-aligned and wrapped around his jugular.  He also had sepsis.

What a fight you gave for us!  You tried to reach out to me to save you and I feel that with them holding the video call, you were subject to their hospital protocol of murder.  I requested you be given Ivermectin, Vitamin C infusions, and other medications and was advised by the physician that these were horse paste.

It was not until I met the Former Feds Group and my PA Group that it was confirmed to me that this was Hospital Protocol Murder.  I knew in my heart and soul during his admission, but same story with so many people is not by coincidence.

I’ll love him forever and never give up this fight on his behalf.
